Michael’s interest in science and the environment put him on an academic path that lead him through to the early days of the Human Genome Project, the international research project with the goal of identifying all the genes of the human genome. His degree and coursework gave him an education which nows serves as a strong foundation to understanding the science behind MyCancerDB.

After graduation, his focus shifted to the Internet during the dot com boom and has passionately worked in new and emerging technologies. He has experience with every step of the production timeline from high level user experience and strategy to development and animation. As a product manager he is empathetic to the needs of the end user, while understanding the limitations and timing of technology requests. He can act as the bridge between creative and technology teams, speaking both languages and is able to advise and communicate with each side equally.

Over his twenty year career, Michael has worked directly with dozens Fortune 500 companies and industry leading marketing firms around the world. His background and experience makes him uniquely positioned to help establish MyCancerDB as the new way to treat cancer.
